Scorpina soup recipe
Ingredients: 2 big scorpinas • 4-5 carrrots • 2 average sized onions • 5 stalks celery • 2-3 potatoes • 2-3 ripe tomatoes • 4-5 eggs • the juice of 3-5 lemons • a spoonful of tumeric • salt and pepper to taste.
Method:  Clean the fish carefully  Dice the potatoes & peel the onions, carrots & tomatoes  In a large pot half-filled with water boil the vegetables for 30 min. Add a little olive oil & salt & pepper to taste  Add the fish & boil for another 20 min. Remove the fish & vegetables onto a platter  In a large bowl, beat the eggs & add the lemon juice slowly stirring continuously  With a soup serving spoon add soup to the egg & lemon mixture while stirring. When your bowl is almost full, add this mixture to the rest of the soup in the pot stirring continuously. Turn off the heat & keep stirring a little while  Add the fish & the vegetables. Enjoy!
